DEVOTION: Hallelujah! What a great reminder of God’s grace. In this passage of scripture, we find that the Lord is actively looking around throughout this whole entire earth to show up for us. Even more encouraging is that he is not just creeping up on the show of his presence, the scripture says he is showing up strong.
But wait, don’t miss that there is work for us to do. Our hearts need to be perfect towards him. This means that we need to be committed to him, loyal and trusting. For those that love the Lord, he is actively surveying the land so he can provide us with strength, support, and help. What is amazing is he is Omnipresent, meaning he is everywhere, here and there at the same time. He is also Omniscient, meaning he knows and sees all. He can oversee my situation and struggles and yours at the same time. Maintain your love, trust and loyalty for God. He is looking at the inner man, the heart, and not just the outward appearance. This steadfastness activates his blessing of watching out for us and strength.
